Much better light today, but when I arrived in the morning there wasn’t much going on. I grabbed a coffee and came back just as an adult bald eagle was on the lookout for fish. In the meantime, I surveyed the scene for some other residents. After a few minutes, I spotted the eagle carrying a fish towards the tree and I tracked it all the way in as it landed on a branch. Soon after, one of the juvenile eagles swooped in and forced the adult to flee with the fish in its talons.
