Hi folks! Another reminder that I’m playing three shows as part of Beacon Bonfire this coming weekend 4th & 5th November.

It’s an arts festival that takes over the entire town of Beacon and it’s going to be loads of fun. Buying a ticket gets you access to as many shows as you like on a particular day or even for the whole weekend.

There are four ticket links in this email just in case you miss the other three. It would be lovely to see some friendly faces.

Saturday 4th @ 1pm || saxophone, synths and looping alongside movement artist Elizabeth Castagna's: 3 Hour Experiment Drawing, Eyes Closed (Full show is 12pm-3pm)

Saturday 4th @ 8:30pm || with Vinny DePonto’s: Mind Reader. This will be my third show with my good friend and fellow pizza enthusiast in the space of a couple of weeks.

Also, I highly recommend showing up to watch Aaron Parks before our show. He is a huge inspiration to me musically and has been since way back when I was studying at music college in London - and he’s a Beacon resident!

Garageworks Studio B

In my quest to live loop and use effects with my sax without I recently got a new microphone for my sax that I couldn’t be happier with. It is tiny, and goes inside the mouthpiece (and is then wired to a pre-amp and transmitter) instead of being clipped on the instrument’s bell, meaning the sound is even through every register. In addition to that, I can stand right next to a speaker and it won’t feedback at all. I’m totally blown away.
