Based in New York City, Alexander Harris is a versatile musician and composer known for his work across multiple genres. With a deep passion for music that began in childhood with his early tinkering on the piano and flute, Alex discovered a profound connection with the saxophone, jazz and technology which continues to fuel his artistic journey today. His current musical output combines saxophone, EWI (electronic wind instrument), synthesizers and an array of FX pedals for both live performance and composition.

Alexander graduated with a degree in music from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he was fortunate to learn from and play with many world-renowned musicians including Dave Liebman, Kenny Wheeler, Tim Garland, Norma Winstone, and John Patitucci. During this time he began to develop his own sound, combining melodic fluidity with deep harmonic and rhythmic sensibilities that enabled him to be equally at home in traditional and contemporary musical environments - from intimate jazz clubs to festival stages and beyond.

Besides thousands of performances as a touring musician, Alex works as a composer and producer for both live theatre and filmed works.
