Our first trip with two kids. You’ll have to take my word for it as I won’t be posting much of them…

Day one was an easy, uneventful drive from Putnam Valley, NY to Colombia Heights, DC. Punctuated by three stops to charge both the car and four month old Freddie.

At one of our stops we lost a wheel from the stroller at a charging station in New Jersey. Maybe it’ll still be there when we go back. I wondered why someone would leave a perfectly good wheel on the ground and even commented on it to our three year old (if I told my wife, I’m sure we wouldn’t be the proud owners of a three-wheeled stroller). Added find a wheel to the list for today. We arrived in DC after about seven hours (due to the pit stops), just in time for sushi and martinis.
